1-800-TAXICAB, INC and Coors Light have teamed up to use taxi services as part of a comprehensive, nationwide alcohol safety and responsibility program. 

Together with Coors Light, 1-800-TAXICAB, INC has designed a wide variety of point of sale materials including banners, stickers, posters and more to be used by Coors sales teams, distributors and retailers across the United States. By encouraging patrons to call 1-800-TAXICAB, Coors Light gives consumers one more way to represent “Great Responsibility” when they choose not to drink and drive.

Coors Light and 1-800-TAXICAB, INC have connected millions of patrons to local taxi companies through the national taxi hotline service and local programs. Just a sampling of recent program events have included:

• Coordinating alcohol safety responsibility programs using taxi services in connection with charitable events such as Crawl for Cancer in Denver (2008 and 2009).

• Facilitating alcohol safety responsibility programs using taxi services for the Great American Beer Festival.

• Working with Colorado State Highway Patrol and the Colorado Department of Transportation (2008 and 2009). Public safety programs such as the "Heat is On" labor day campaign (2009).

• Coordinated taxi safety programs with the Colorado Rockies for Opening Day.

• Coordinating alcohol safety responsibility programs using taxi services in connection with the Orlando (’09) and Miami (’10) Super Bowl festivities.

• Coors® / 1-800-TAXICAB® events in San Francisco, Sacramento, Denver, Vancouver, and dozens of other cities ('07).

• Point of Sale and messaging materials in concerts, sporting events and local festivals (such as Street Scene in San Diego) across the United States.

• Radio tags throughout the United States encouraging patrons to "Be Safe and Plan Ahead, Dial 1-800-TAXICAB®."

• Extensive Point of Sale sticker campaigns on cartons of Coors Light® in retail establishments throughout the United States.

• Executing large-scale, multi-city on-premise taxi safety programs in connection with the St Patrick’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve holiday periods throughout the United States.
