SafeCall™ is a
Heineken USA national partnership with 1-800-TAXICAB, INC
that has been effectively utilized with local bars,
restaurants and taxi companies.
The program allows bartenders or patrons to arrange taxi
rides home to ensure a safe ride to their home or hotel.
SafeCall™ is designed to encourage people all across
America not to drink and drive by dialing 1-800-TAXICAB®.
Together, Heineken USA and 1-800-TAXICAB, INC have connected

In
order to combat underage drinking, Heineken USA has joined
forces with the NewYork Presbyterian Healthcare System and
the White Plains Hospital Center as part of a national
public initiative, the
Health Alliance on Alcohol (HAA). The HAA is aimed at bringing attention to the issue and
preventing underage consumption of alcohol through effective
parent/child communications.
An
important element of this effort has been the creation of a
series of educational booklets to help parents talk to their
teens about the issues surrounding underage drinking,
including the effects and dangers involved. Please visit the
HAA website for more information, or view and/or
download the first 5 of 9 books from their current series: |
